• SWOT analysis of the unit o Strengths and areas of development
The strongest aspect of our university is that it has academicians who have worked in the field of energy. The development opportunities will increase with the addition of new academicians in this field. o Opportunities and Threats of the Unit
OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone and Ankara's industrial sector represent the greatest opportunity for our university and for ETAUM in the field of energy. The increasing global significance of energy, along with its strategic importance for our country, presents valuable prospects for the center. The most significant threat for our center is the possibility that research and innovation activities to be carried out within the OSTİM Ecosystem—of which our university is a part—may be led by other universities instead.
• Institutional Transformation Capacity and Improvement Work
In order to strengthen the institutional structure of the center, the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board will be expanded, renewed, and actively utilized.
6. Stakeholder Relations
• Relationships with internal and external stakeholders
There are established relationships with our administrative and academic units. Maintaining active engagement with faculty members and experts working in the field of energy is essential, especially in light of our university’s expanding academic staff.
OSTİM Energy Cluster has appointed a representative to the Board of Directors of our center, and we also have members from both the public and private sectors. Through these members, we aim to ensure that these relationships remain active and productive.

7.Conclusion and General Evaluation
• Overall performance of the unit
Our unit, established in 2020, has become active in recent years. The number of projects undertaken and the number of engaged academics, along with resulting publications, constitute our primary performance indicators. Starting next year, these metrics will be quantitatively measured and included in official reports.
• Goals
Key objectives include delivering OSTİM-centered trainings on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which will come into effect in 2026; participating in projects focused on energy efficiency; and organizing and taking part in national and international conferences and scientific activities.
